WE ALWAYS FINISH OUR YEAR OFF WITH REGIONAL COMPETITION - WHETHER WE'RE COMPETING OUR DOING THE SHORT REGIONAL SHOW WHILE THE JUDGES ARE TALLYING THE SCORES. This year was no exception and ended delightfully with the GOLD!

Several of the members who were invited to join us last fall for International Competition remained to add to our sound. Meanwhile, we had about 8 who were unable to attend due to surgery, deaths in the family and other major scheduling conflicts. In spite of our numbers onstage being only 49 - as opposed to last year's 64, we achieved a solid B+ score of 608! only 2 points below our international score. We felt VERY proud to see that ALL the categories were about 6-8 points higher that last year's scores.

Many thanks goes to our home region coach Mary Lois Dick who is always there to encourage us and point us in the right direction. CPR - choosing personal responsibility - has become the chorus watchword. A chorus is only as good as each singer decides it can be.

We are committed to building on what we've learned, both individually, and as a chorus, and we will proudly represent Region Six at International Competition in Houston, Texas, in 2011.
