About TCs Website
Roster Info
The Board Communications Coordinator is responsible for seeing that the right people get the right information when they need it. This involves putting out the chorus's publications and getting information to the chorus website and online communications system.
The TCChorus YAHOO GROUPS EMAIL and WEB SITE contains much information internal to the chorus business. 3 Members are "MANAGERS" and can send the weekly email HOTSHEET, or INVITE new members to join the group. Once an individual gets an "invitation", they get their own ID and PASSWORD to the site/sites services. Members can then communicate with the chorus via the group email, access and download files and pass chorus information quickly. Those without internet access get the same materials on paper by informing the hotsheet editor and person(s) distributing the information. PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS will soon have a GUEST yahoo groups site.
  • THE HOTSHEET is our weekly hot-info-sheet that goes to all chorus members via the "chorus mailbox" or via email (your choice). It has a calendar of upcoming chorus events, a "to-do" list with reminders of tasks that need to be done. If you ever have information to give to the chorus, the best plan is to call, fax or email it to the coordinator no later than the Monday before rehearsal so it can be included in the hotsheet. Read the hotsheet and listen to announcements (should be fewer of those if everyone remembers to put their announcements in the hotsheet!), and you should have a pretty good idea of what is going on. URGENT news (eg. cancelled/changed performance info) will be passed on via the Telephone Committee.
  • REHEARSAL RECAP put out via email AFTER reherasal which contains information about what we did at rehearsal and what we need to work on for the next rehearsal. Unfortunately, those without internet access do not get this.
  • Standing Rules and Bylaws files are maintained on the group website in PDF or .doc format.
  • Chorus Roster - members update it themselves once they receive it and distribute/receive updates via the weekly hotsheet.
  • Roster-by-Parts Checklist for committees to printout as needed.
  • Photo Roster w/Phone for Rookies to get to know faces.
  • Music Arrangements in the form of PDFs are available online as well. Contact our Trax Techies for more info
  • Learning tracks part predominant are available - via the web as well. Contact our Trax Techies for more info

Anyone can contribute and submissions are enthusiastically welcomed. The spring bulletin is a special competition guide that gives you all the information you need to get ready for regional competition (packing lists, schedules, etc.) Put out by the Bulletin Chair.
